My upcoming University Council for Educational Aministration presentations

Tomorrow I leave for the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) convention in Denver. I really dread flying with a cold, so this must be a sign of how dedicated I am to advancing the field of education.

In addition to speaking as a mentor for graduate students on Friday, I’ll be presenting in three different sessions on Saturday. One is about some of the groundbreaking work that Boston College is taking to enhance doctoral programming in educational leadership. Another is a paper presentation regarding data system implementation– a version of this manuscript is in its final revision processes. I hope to announce its publication soon. A third is a paper presenting my preliminary findings about school administrators and their experiences in using Twitter.

Below are the specific titles.

  • Developing the Scholar in the Scholarly-Practitioner: Building Research Capacity in Ed.D. Programs
  • Issues Confronting District Administrators in Computer Data System Implementation: Mapping the Terrain
  • School Administrators’ Use of Twitter: Benefits and Challenges
